Autreat was the first known autistic-run conference of its kind in the world, and it has become a model for other Autistic community and self-advocacy events in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Autreat offers a special experience of freedom and acceptance for autistic people from all over the U.S. and Canada as well people who travel from overseas to attend.

Our goal is to raise at least $6,000.00 to cover the substantial increase in venue fees as well as provide expanded scholarship assistance. Many people in our community have very limited income, are unemployed, or underemployed. Autreat has always provided a fee structure based on income, but with increased fees and rising transportation/fuel costs nationwide and internationally we anticipate a higher demand for scholarship assistance this year.

We want as many people as possible to be able to attend Autreat. So far, donors have already contributed more than $4,000.00 to this fund!

Gifts of all sizes are important. In past years many people in our community have contributed generously to help with Autreat expenses. Many others give their volunteer time and expertise to make Autreat happen. Thank you. Everyone with any connection to Autism Network International, Autreat, or Autistic community is invited to donate to this fund this year.
