The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo
Just finished "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". Picked it up because I read the heroine has Aspergers. I was wondering how badly they would portray an AS Woman. Now I am a fan of Stieg Larsson because he really nailed it!
The Swedish version with Naomi Rapace was great, I hear they are going to make a American version starring little known Rooney Mara. Hopefully, they won't let her look too pretty!
Ha Ha! The fact that the heroine has Aspergers is really a side line for most people, the book describes all her AS traits without revealing the diagnosis until the very end. The heroine's AS isn't even mentioned in the movie. BTW, the movie of the same name is out on Comcast pay per view (subtitled) lots of sex and violence, not for the faint of heart but the lead, Noomi Rapace is great.
I have not heard about this book! Where have I been?
